X Image Viewer ("the extension") is a browser extension that displays images and videos from your X (Twitter) timeline in a fullscreen viewer.

Data collection

The extension does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data.

• It does not send any data to the developer or to any third party.
• It has no analytics, no tracking, and no external network requests of its own.
• It requires no account and no login.

What the extension accesses

• Page content on x.com and twitter.com only. A content script reads the page to find image and video posts and to render the fullscreen viewer. This processing happens entirely in your browser and nothing leaves your device.
• Local settings storage. The extension stores a single on/off setting (whether the viewer is enabled) using the browser's local extension storage. This value never leaves your browser.

Media loading

When you open a media item in the viewer, the image or video is loaded directly from X's own media servers (pbs.twimg.com / video.twimg.com), exactly as the X website itself would load it. The extension adds no other network destinations.

Permissions

• storage — to remember the on/off setting.
• Host access to x.com and twitter.com — so the content script can run on those sites only.
